When you think of a wedding photo booth, you probably picture the classic photo strip: guests squeeze together, make a few silly faces, and walk away with a little keepsake from the night.

But what if that photo could become something guests actually carry with them long after the wedding?

That's exactly what one of our recent brides had in mind when she came to Twinkle Photo Booth with a fun idea: photo keychains as a take-home wedding favor.

A Photo Booth Favor With a Twist

At Twinkle, we're intentional about the photo booth experience we create for our couples. We love the classic photo strip because there's something timeless about leaving a wedding with a physical photograph in your hand.

So when this bride asked if we could offer photo keychains instead, we wanted to make sure we could create the experience in a way that still felt like Twinkle.

Her wedding at The Gardens at Applecross was anything but boring. While it had all the elements of a beautiful summer wedding, the bride and groom brought their Russian heritage and personalities into the celebration, creating a reception that was full of energy, games, and plenty of opportunities for guests to have fun together.

It was clear from the beginning that this was a couple who didn't necessarily want to stick to the standard wedding traditions.

Guests Could Choose: Keychain or Classic Photo Strip

One of our favorite parts of this idea was that guests didn't have to choose between a photo keychain and the traditional photo booth print.

They could have both.

When guests approached the booth, they were able to choose whether they wanted to create a photo keychain to take home or stick with the classic Twinkle photo strip.

And for anyone who wanted both, they could take two separate photos and leave with two different keepsakes.

That flexibility was important because, while photo keychains were the star of the show at this wedding, we know that there's still something special about the traditional photo strip.

Some guests wanted the novelty of a keychain. Others wanted the classic photo strip. And some wanted one of each.

Everyone got to have the experience they wanted.

The Guests Were OBSESSED

We've worked a lot of weddings, and there are always guests who love the photo booth. But this entire crowd seemed genuinely excited to celebrate together. The keychains only added to that energy.

Guests were excited to have something different to take home, and the idea became part of the fun of the night rather than simply another wedding favor sitting at their place setting.

That's what made this particular idea such a success.The bride knew her guests. She knew they would appreciate something playful, interactive, and a little unexpected.
